The ideal candidate will have a team first mentality, think bold, deliver big and always be fearless and fair. The position requires a knowledge of advertising law, as well strong drafting skills and a business mindset. An understanding of FTC, Lanham Act, and state laws, as well as prior experience negotiating with advertising agencies, content owners and talent is preferred. A willingness to flex and develop expertise in other legal areas is a plus. This is a challenging, highly visible role that requires collaboration with various functions throughout the company. Review advertising and marketing to ensure compliance with the FTC, state and e-commerce laws and regulations. Support the internal advertising agency in obtaining rights to music, video, photography and other third-party assets, as well as negotiating with vendors. Negotiate agreements with advertising agencies and media companies. Operate independently to manage relationships with many business partners to understand their challenges and help develop solutions to manage a high-pressure, high volume environment. Collaborate efficiently and effectively across legal and business functions in a manner that adds value, balances risk, and protects the company's reputation Participate as the legal representative on various cross-functional projects and initiatives, and work collaboratively with key functional groups within KDP Requirements Juris Doctor from accredited institution At least five years of legal experience in advising clients at a law firm, or as part of an in-house corporate legal department Nimble thinker, collaborative, and comfortable with change Years of legal

$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Legal & RegulatoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
