IT Project Manager III

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Essential Function:
Execute Project Management process to ensure delivery, including project control, risk management, change management, issue resolution, progress reporting, reviews and project documentation.
Resolve major project issues & conflicts; escalate to program manager when necessary.
Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues as necessary.
Produce/maintain a single master Project Plan that identifies key activities, milestones, resource usage, costs etc.
Liaise with business and/or supplier stakeholders to ensure project teams members are in place in order to facilitate testing signoff by users, and transitioning into ongoing service; project value realization, celebration and closure.
Direct and motivate the project team - ensure all team members understand their roles; ensure project objectives and requirements are understood and met.
Manage project training, and ensure user training needs are in place.
Co-ordinate communication with project team as agreed in the IT PMO Communication Plan for projects and leads messaging to all stakeholders
Drive the execution of project related actions in architecture and standards delivery, ensuring compliance with architecture, security guidelines and sourcing model.
Ensure proper transition of developed process and/or system solution into production environment.
Highly organized, excellent planning skills with strong Project Management background.

Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field
PMP Certification or equivalent experience
5 to 8 years' Project Management or related experience
3 plus years' experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
5 plus years' experience managing Agile & Waterfall methodologies and supporting techniques
Able to communicate technical issues in business terms so that senior leadership can evaluate options and make sound decisions.
Requires strong influencing / negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.
Strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
