Responsible for design & utilization for the physical network transport facilities for Switched access to support RIP activities
Allocates circuit facilities assignment (CFA) for various bandwidths and updates the transport database (NRM) for type 2A, 2B, 2C, 800, type 1, LD and any other auxiliary trunks.
Issues and Coordinate work orders and assist switch operations and provisioning for clarification as needed.
Create Engineering design packages for project related activities.
Provides daily/weekly updates and reports 6. updates various databases on project activities related to RIP
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
4-6 years experience as a Transport Engineer GSM knowledge and/or experience Ability to interpret topography, network design maps Ability to interpret tariffs Strong personal computer skills required including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Expert understanding and knowledge of Granite Must have good oral and written communication skills Must have good time management skills Must have good understanding of a GSM Network and its components Must be able to work well under pressure Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime when required
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
