GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer for a permanent position in Frisco, TX. The Dev Ops Engineer will need to be client driven, act like entrepreneur, constantly strive to improve, stay humble and respect others, make transparency a competitive advantage, get things done right, and must have excellent communication skills. This is a dynamic and fast moving environment where the Dev Ops Engineer will need to ensure stability and scalability of the environment. Must be an out of the box thinker and ready to jump in and learn at any given moment. We are looking for application support and operations engineers who love solving deep and complex technical and business problems. We are looking to modernize our testing and deployment process, using approaches such as continuous deployment and delivery, in addition to making our distributed platform more automated and efficient to support. We work closely with the engineering groups to bring a "full-stack" perspective on how the application and infrastructure are working together to provide availability and performance while still allowing for the great amount of change we want. 4+ years of experience in the following skill sets:-
Experience with mission-critical trading or other Real Time system architectures with significant uptime and reliability expectations Strong background in creating own and maintaining Legacy scripts in modern languages (Bash, Perl, Python) Familiar with database setup, proficient in SQL and working knowledge of FIX protocol Experience with third party schedulers (Autosys, Tidal) and messaging layers (TIBCO, MQ) Experience with full stack application support and torubleshooting, ideally with external-facing clients Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to navigate through complex infrastructures independently and act as an application owner Experience in a "continuous deployment" environment including daily change control meetings Strong ability to own side projects including building or improving support tools Have experience working with Virtual machines (vmware, kvm, xen) Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (Chef, Puppet, Cfengine) Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, OpenNMS) Experience in torubleshooting server applications on window and linux platforms. Troubleshooting knowledge of network routing and protocol is beneficial
Anticipate, diagnose and solve problems with our trading platform and client Front End Interface daily with internal coverage teams in a fast-paced environment; there is considerable exposure to the trading desks and a key requirement is the ability to build strong user relationships Proactive management and monitoring of our environment, together with extensive problem identification, ownership, resolution or escalation Managing significant systems outages, directing activities of all development and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues Drive initiatives that continue to improve the availability, stability, and performance of the system Closely cooperating and collaborating with development, test engineering, product, and client coverage teams Work with developers on supportability designs, application optimization and performance tuning Monitor the production application environment for problems and to diagnose where those problems are Work with the engineering teams to maintain a scalable, reliable, and robust environment Drive the improvement cycle from Operations back into development and vice versa Measuring, maintaining, and reporting appropriate SLA's across products to internal and external partners Provide follow the Sun model support regional team as well as rotational on-call escalation Must have experience in a trading/financial environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
