ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Write clear and detailed feature specification and design specifications documents for telecommunication systems. Collaborate with product developers and Solution Verification teams to ensure correct implementation of requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
A working knowledge of relevant ANSI, ITU, 3GPP, 3GPP2 and IETF standards such as M3UA, SS7, (A)IN, SIP, MEGACO/H.248, IMS Architecture desired.
Strong C/C++, object oriented design techniques, multi-threaded application required; Perl or other scripting languages a plus,
Knowledge of real-time embedded and networked systems (Linux/Unix)
Able to work well in a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3 years proven software development experience, mainly in the telecommunications industry
Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
