Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology PA Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology PA Frisco, TX Frisco, TX Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour Our busy and well-regarded Obstetrics and Gynecology office in Frisco, Texas is seeking an experienced, bright, friendly, professional and motivated individual to work as our appointment phone scheduler, that has a lovely and welcoming voice to assist our wonderful patients and one who will perform a variety of administrative tasks for the practice in a full time position.
This position will be resourceful and proactive while prioritizing scheduling patients directing of phone calls and insurance verifications.
The candidate we are seeking must have compassion for patients, a professional appearance, excellent communication and organizational skills, is reliable and has a positive and energetic attitude.
Position Requirements:
2 years medical office experience is a must.
Experience with ATHENA EMR is preferred however, a quick learner is essential.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Monitor patient flow and communicate effectively.
Check in patients, verify and update all demographic & insurance information.
Inform patients of their financial obligations and collect appropriate copays/deductibles at time of service.
Check out patients and schedule future appointments as needed.
Reconcile daily work/collections and prepare end of the day balancing.
Be proactive in keeping schedules aligned with expected office protocols.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Excellent communication skills oral and written; able to communicate effectively with patients, coworkers and physicians on a daily basis.
Able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and work in a fast-paced environment.
