Construction Contracts Specialist
We are hiring for a Construction Contracts Specialist for our client company, a growing construction company Frisco, TX! This role will be a vital piece of Construction Services, supporting $100 million in annual sales revenue and will work closely with project managers, project coordinators, contract administrators and accounting personnel.
You'll play pertinent role in ensuring company-wide contract compliance, primarily with construction projects, by designing, writing, and implementing corporate and construction contract compliance policies and procedures to assure adherence to laws and regulations throughout most states in the country.
The development of the policies and procedures shall cover prime contracts on large federal and public works infrastructure projects, which will often act as a subcontractor, which will also include several second-tier subcontractors whom must adhere to the contract compliance of the prime contract.
Skills needed:
A solid background in statistical, analytical, and organizational skills with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
A bachelor's degree in business or accounting is expected, along with experience and proficiency in computer applications.
Professional certification in the field of compliance or auditing is preferred.
We require experience with Davis Bacon Wage Act compliance, certified payroll, LCP Tracker, and MBE/WBE review.
