Summary:
As a Financial Analyst on the Commercial Finance team, you will:
1.
Champion and influence profitable growth by serving as a trusted business partner to the Retail and/or Foodservice management teams.
2.
Provide the insights and analysis to drive key elements of the commercial agenda.
3.
Manage an array of strategic projects, succinctly identify root causes and partner with Sales and Marketing on P&L management, variance analyses, trade efficiency, forecasting, budgeting, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop pricing and profitability analytics from gross sales through contribution margin.
Support trade promotion management and shopper marketing performance, administration, and reporting Build and present reporting package of period and YTD results in collaboration with others.
Partner with Commercial teams on selling and marketing expense performance.
Support the monthly sales/product forecast process with Demand Planning and Sales Partner with Sales and Finance leadership in building the company's annual business plan.
Collaborate with Marketing to provide a robust view of retailer sales data (shelf facings, velocities, ACV, etc.
) within forecasting and customer reviews.
Support the Associate Director, Commercial Finance on other projects and analyses as needed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's Degree (required) / MBA Degree (preferred) 3
years relevant experience within organizations operating a physical supply chain.
Food and Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) background preferred.
Demonstrated interpersonal savvy and ability to influence others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in one-on-one and group settings.
A passion for analysis and experience with scenario modeling Strong quantitative sense, data management, problem-solving, technical aptitude, time-management, and organizational skills Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite Job Type:
