Quality Field Auditor at Oportun in Frisco, TX
The BCO (Business Control Office) is responsible for managing the risk inherent to the strategy and business objectives within Oportun's risk appetite and for identifying, owning, and controlling risks within specific business operations. The Business Control Office (BCO) is comprised of three core areas to support a robust first line of defense control function for our operational teams. General services, Program Management and Testing/Monitoring. Overview As part of the Testing & Monitoring area, the Quality Field Auditor will contribute to the build of a strong risk culture related to Regulatory requirements and Company policy. The Quality Field Auditor will identify potential risks by performing on-site reviews to ensure adherence to business processes at Oportun and Partner retail locations. The objective of which is to provide assurance to partners that risk is being managed effectively. Responsibilities Travel to our Retail locations to perform quality audits. Interpret company policy and government regulations. Analyze a variety of complex situations to decisively assess risk. Compile all findings with actionable detail for the business operation. Develop positive relationships with business operation and compliance partners. Dedicated to the ongoing evolution of Oportun risk management. High level of organizational skills, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Qualifications Bilingual required (English/Spanish). 5
years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the financial services industry. 3
years of management or equivalent leadership experience. Thorough knowledge of financial services regulatory guidelines such as Fair Lending, UDAAP, TILA, and other regulatory developments. Must be proficient at using all Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint. Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time. Valid Driver's License and Insurance required.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
